That doesn’t mean you need to water it every day, but don’t mess around with over-drying it either. Find a middle ground.
About fertilizer: Big Bud is not one of those who requires some super-quality food, but a little potassium and phosphorus he will appreciate, especially at the flowering stage. And if you suddenly want something similar in quality and yield, look at the Skywalker OG and LA Confidential varieties. These aren’t bad either, but for me Big Bud always wins on all fronts.
